VIkings: Worlds at War with ET Canada was a behind the scenes special for season 6 of Vikings. Hosted by Carlos Bustamante, the special aired on History Channel and took viewers behind the scenes of the “Vikings” set, along with exclusive interviews.
The graphics were a mix of photography and elements from the Vikings series. An ET Canada crew was sent to Ireland, and some of the photos were mixed with graphical elements to create a striking Vikings themed graphics package. The indoor set photos were cut into layers, animated in After Effects, and mixed with particles and floating text elements. For the outdoor shots, a time lapse of clouds was added as well as three dimensional extruded and textured fonts to create a "living photograph" feel.
